Burundi U20 national team coach Joslin Bipfubusa has named a provisional squad of 32 for the upcoming 2019 Guinea U20 Afcon qualifiers.
The “Intamba Murugamba” will face Ethiopia in the preliminary round of the region-based qualifiers.
Burundi will travel to Addis Ababa for the first leg slated for the weekend of 30, 31/3 – 1/4/2018 with the return match taking place in the weekend of 20, 21, 22/4/2018.
The aggregate winner will face Sudan, who was handed a bye in the initial round, in the second round May.
The qualifiers conclude in July with eight teams sailing through to the continental age grade tournament to take place in Guinea in 2019.
In other match-ups Kenya will take on Rwanda with the winner locking horns with defending champions Zambia in the second round.
While Uganda will battle South Sudan with Cameroon lying in wait in the second round.
