Vital’O and Burundi’s “Swallows” midfielder Shasir Nahimana has joined Rayon Sports of Rwanda, according to reports from the country.
23-year old Nahimana,Burundi’s “Amstel Ligue” 2015/16 most valuable player crossover to the 2016 Peace Cup champions in the “Azam” Rwanda Premier League fresh from guiding Vital’O to a second league title on the bounce.
He was also pivotal in the teams campaign in the President Cup losing to Messenger Ngozi in the final.
At the Nyanza based outfit,Nahimana will be welcomed by fellow Swallows teammate Pierrot Kwizera, a prominent member of the team who already extended his stay at the club, signing a new contract last week.
Nahimana debuted for the national team in 2014 and was a member of Burundi CHAN 2014 team in South Africa.
