Zesco United Vs Green Buffaloes
Levy Mwanawasa Stadium
15:00
As a reward for not losing from the time Bilton Musonda came back and lining up those draws in the process, Green Buffaloes get a trip to Levy Mwanawasa. The challenge is Green Buffaloes are not scoring as expected. They have only scored three goals in the last five games.
The bad news is they have to play ZESCO United who have let in just four goals all season and are working on a title challenge. They may be struggling getting wins but it’s never easy beating that ZESCO United side.
This has the makings of ZESCO United blistering the soldiers as of always. Those that follow stats, GBFC only has four wins against ZESCO United in 22 games though the recent form shows the sudden resurgence of GBFC against the Ndola outfit.
To be blunt , ZESCO United’s defense is the real deal and should be able to keep GBFC out while the forwards do their thing. ZESCO United are looking for a response and I think they will get it hear to relax the fans that are getting impatient with the current form.
My Prediction: ZESCO United 2-1 Green Buffaloes
Prison Leopards Vs Mufulira Wanderers
Godfrey Chitalu Stadium
15:00hrs
Prison Leopards bad patch continued last Wednesday with another loss to ZANACO but they take on Mufulira Wanderers as slight favorites to get all three points. Yes, it looks like finally it’s a win that Prison Leopards will record in their books.
Neither side have been in particularly high scoring matches this season, in fact outside of the first game of the season, when the two teams met, is the only time Mufulira Wanderers scored three goals. For Prison Leopards, it’s worse as they have never scored more than a goal this season. The Kabwe outfit has only scored three goals all season.
Wanderers are looking for a getaway and start making their place known in the stream but I don’t think that win Kamwanga is looking for desperately is in this encounter. I strongly feel Prison Leopards will start counting this weekend.
My Prediction: Prison Leopards 1-0 Mufulira Wanderers
Kitwe United Vs Nakambala Leopards
Garden Park Stadium
15:00
Nakambala Leopards will want to forget the last time they visited Kitwe United, getting beaten 2-1 here in 2018. While meetings between these clubs are few and far between, we still count two wins for Nakambala Leopards, two draws and one win for Kitwe United in the known five times the two teams have met.
The Kitwe United form makes their odds here very appealing as they sit in the relegation zone with three draws in the last three and have one loss in the last six. That goes to Nakambala who are from a loss and they have not won in the last three
Kitwe United have one of the worst defensive record this season, of course better than ZANACO and Mufulira Wanderers who have let in more than the Kitwe outfit but Nakambala Leopards might not go wild here because a comfortable victory for the home side is certainly on the cards.
My Prediction: Kitwe United 2-1 Nakambala Leopards

Lusaka Dynamos Vs Kabwe Warriors
Nkoloma Stadium
13:00
Live on SuperSport
After years of trying at Kabwe Warriors and now with Tenant Chilumba in his second season at Kabwe Warriors, it looks like the fun has come back Warriors. Its fans are already dreaming of CAF games at Ucar Godfrey Chitalu. Let’s not forget its Warriors we are talking about. Good starters over the years and ending badly.
The draw against Red Arrows was a testament to what this side is capable of, however their early high number of draws is a reminder that the bubble is capable of bursting anytime soon.
This fixture is characterized with a lot of draws and you always are tempted to go for a draw in predictions of this encounter. I count nine draws in the last 17 games, with Kabwe Warriors winning five and Lusaka Dynamos winning three.
But the last winner in this contest was Kabwe Warriors in 2018 and with the way their forward line is gelling right now, they should be able to score goals as needed to stay ahead of Lusaka Dynamos.
But then we have Chris Mugalu on the other end and I think that unbeaten run in the league will come to a close this weekend. Maybe only then, will reality set in. The loss for Warriors means giving up second slot .
My Prediction: Lusaka Dynamos 2-0 Kabwe Warriors.
Red Arrows Vs Zanaco
Nkoloma Stadium
15:00hrs
Live on SuperSport
The match of the round concludes the weekend’s action here as Red Arrows and ZANACO meet for a blockbuster at Nkoloma Stadium to close week 10.
ZANACO have two wins in a row and Red Arrows have two draws in a row and with a rough League campaign to this point, both teams will likely want to turn their attention to getting a win here but only one team can do that.
ZANACO need all three points in what looks like it will be a very tightly run title race already this season. Because a loss by ZANACO coupled by Kabwe Warriors win and the result would then mean the difference between the two sides will only be goal difference.
With ZANACO having won the first leg already this season, Red Arrows would want to get their share and win this one but these sides seem too hard to split. I will go with the form team. A rare ZANACO win at Nkoloma Stadium.
My Prediction: Red Arrows 1-2 ZANACO

FC MUZA Vs Power Dynamos
Nakambala Stadium
15:00hrs
If it’s feeling a little hot on Arthur Davies that probably is due to Kelvin Kaindu’s seat currently warm enough to power three regional counties.
The Zimbabwe League winning boss has now gone three games without a win after those three straight wins against Nkana, Circuit City and Lumwana Radiants. The club such as Power Dynamos will expect a much better return than one point from possible nine points.
A match against MUZA right in the relegation zone certainly has the potential to bring them joy for the first time in three weeks.
MUZA has not lost in three games with one win against Napsa Stars and two draws at home to Nkana and Forest Rangers. They welcome Power Dynamos without Kids gloves, because they know it’s an opportunity worth taking serious and they are aware of the pressure that is with the technical bench. But I think Power is much stronger for the three points here.
My Prediction: MUZA 0-1 Power Dynamos
Nkana Vs Lumwana Radiants
Nkana Stadium
15:00hrs
Nkana are ahead of Lumwana Radiants on the Super League table and the difference is three points. I repeat, Nkana are ahead of Lumwana on the Super League table and the difference is three points.
It’s only by three point but if they want to keep it that way, Nkana will need to avoid defeat when they welcome Lumwana Radiants at Nkana stadium.
These teams drew the first leg in Lumwana with the game ending at 2-2 and they will wish they can as well give fans another entertaining game to watch this time around.
Now the emphasis of the three points gaps means Lumwana can actually send Nkana into relegation position should they beat Nkana with over four goals and this is shocking because with the way Nkana ended the season last, they are not supposed to be where they are even with the games at hand.
Nkana will have to convincingly win this encounter to booster some morale in the next CAF assignment they have against CS Sfaxien.
My Prediction: Nkana 2-0 Lumwana Radiants
Green Eagles Vs Forest Rangers
Independence Stadium
15:00
Forest Rangers will always have memories of their opening day win at home against Green Eagles this season however their 1-0 defeat at Independence Stadium last season looks like it will be slightly more reflective of the outcome here.
Forest Rangers have experienced some trouble in this fixture in the past, dropping points has never been a surprise and have lost four games in Choma in the last 13 games. But the one win in 2017 will still be a motivation that they can still make it. .
What has worked out well for Forest Rangers this season is backing up after a “big” league game, winning the next match after they played another member of the Super League’s big six.
This one will be a real test but I can confidently say, Green Eagles have lost the vigor we saw last season and the teams visiting are slowly noticing that weakness. Forest Rangers will be the next team to pick something in Choma.
My Prediction: Green Eagles 0-0 Forest Rangers
Circuit City Vs Buildcon
Edwin Imboela Stadium
13:00hrs
Live on SuperSport
Things are much more pleasant around Buildcon this weekend after that massive win against Power Dynamos, coming from behind and they will feel confident about making it two in a row against Circuit City.
Circuity City lost their first game of the season against Buildcon in Ndola and emphatically fought in that encounter. They have the confidence to pick something here too with evidence of what we have seen in the first half of the season. There is no better time than this weekend to pick up another win here for the home side. But its Buildcon visiting.
With Circuit City desperate to turn around their poor form in the last three games the question remains when a change comes however desperation is a powerful motivator and if they can take an early lead it might be key to another upset win.
My Prediction: Circuit City 1-3 Buildcon
Nkwazi Vs Napsa Stars
Edwin Imboela Stadium
15:00
Live on SuperSport
Coming from draws for both Nkwazi and Napsa Stars mean they come into this contest glad that run of results will end for at least one team.
Both sides will have this game circled as a slump buster and while Napsa Stars have the goal scoring potential in their side, Nkwazi have the organization to prevent things from getting out of hand.
Nkwazi have only registered one draw this season but this looks like the game that run will end as these two sides may just fail to break each other down.
My Prediction: Nkwazi 0-0 Napsa Stars
Enjoy the games…….
