African club football powerhouse JS Kabylie of Algeria have suffered a schoking 3-0 defeat in the hands of Monrovia Club Breweries in the first leg of CAF Confederations Cup preliminary round match played at Antoinette Tubman Stadium in Monrovia on Friday February 10 2017.
Breweries scored their goals in the second half through Mitis Mulbah, Benjain Sarkoh and Nicholas Andrews Jr.
It took almost a hour of play for Breweries to open the scoresheet when Mitis Mulbah on the 58th minute ,capitalized a defensive mix up between the Algerian goalkeeper Asselah Malek and his defenders to slot the ball into the back of the net.
It was a goal that schoked the Algerians who laid back into their own half waiting for a counter attack.Brewiers kept firing to their opponent and in the 77th their efforts were rewarded through another gooalkeeping error.
On that occasion Benjamin Sarkoh of Breweries was on hand to roll the ball into an empty net and the Antoinette Tubman Stadium went into wild celebration.
The victory was sealed in the 90th minute when 19 years old Nicholas Andrews, Jr. scored what was described at the goal of the match from a curling volley that landed into the top corner of the Algerians net.
Breweries travel to Algeria in few days needing only a draw to secure qualification.
The winner of the fixture will make it to second leg, where he will play the either of the Etoile du Congo (CGO) or Racing de Micomeseng of Equatorial Guinea.
