Malawi’s representatives in the Caf Confederations Cup, Masters Security have an uphill task at home where they must overturn a 5-0 deficit over Atletico Petroleos to make it to the next round of the competition.
Beaten in Angola last weekend, Masters Security coach Abbas Makawa remained defiant, they were not yet out of the competition and promised to turn the tables in the return leg.
An otherwise calm Makawa has said that they were going to play football at Bingu Stadium on Tuesday and nothing but a win will give his boys a sign of relief.
“Yes we lost in Luanda, but Tuesday’s game will be a different game altogether. We are looking forward to a good game and our main focus is to win the match,” Abbas Makawa told Nyasa Times.
Makawa believes they have now corrected their mistakes and they will do better as victory against the Angolan team is a must.
“We will go for a win so that we bow out with dignity, but if the going gets tough then a draw would be an option,” Makawa added.
The wounded security men will be on the prowl and have declared intention to halt the Angolans line of attack which is lies on the wings.
Master Security nearly failed to honor the first round fixture due to visa complications, but at last the disjointed side were able to play in the first leg away.
