APR FC coach Ljubomir Petrovic is confident that his side can beat Djoliba AC of Mali and qualify for the next round of the CAF Confederations Cup.
The army side lost 1-0 to the Malian club in Bamako a week ago and they have a huge task when they play Djoliba AC on Saturday 17 March in Kigali.
Despite failing to score away, Petrovic says they can beat Djoliba by a two-goal margin to be assured of a place in the next round.
“We will put all effort to win the game. We have trained well and are ready for the clash. It is a tight game which requires a lot, so we must be ready” said APR FC head coach Petrovic.
“We have young players who are willing to do better every time, so we believe in them and we have confidence in them that they will work hard to reach next stage of the tournament,” he added.
The Malian side jetted into the country on Thursday evening and are staying at Grand Legacy Hotel.
The aggregate winner after Saturday’s game will play in the play-off round with the eventual winner sealing a place in the lucrative group stage.
