Vipers SC came away from a goal down to hold Volcan de Moroni 1-1 in the second leg of their African Confederations Cup preliminary round encounter played at Stade de Moroni,Comoros.

Deues Bukenya scored the equalizer in 20th minute of the game with a well taken free kick to silence Volcan who had taken the lead on 18th minute through Khamal Djabil.

Vipers were strong in defence, with Sekisambu often the only man upfront.

The visitors led by captain Nicholas Wadada could have won it on 62 minutes, but his overhead kick inside the penalty box flew over the bar with only keeper to beat.

Vipers qualify to the next round on the away goals rule having held the Islanders 0-0 eight days ago at the Nelson Mandela in Kampla.
