Ryad Kenniche had an ES Setif debut to forget as he was dismissed in the first half after being booked for the second time in their 2-0 CAF Champions league loss to El Merriekh.
The Algerian defender signed a 2 year contract with Setif in the summer of 2015 after the league dispute resolution committee terminated his deal with USM El Harrach for unpaid back wages.
Ala’a Eldin Youseff opened scoring from the spot in first the half after Setif shootstopper Sofiane Khedairia brought down Bakri Al Madina in the box.Minutes later,referee Joseph Lamtey awarded the hosts with a second penalty of the game after the incidence that led to Kenniche’s sent off but Bakri failed to convert it.
Substitute Augustine Okra sealed victory for the hosts deep inside injury time.
USM Algers lead Group B with 12 points,El Merriekh seating behind them with 7 point,ES Setif and MC El Eulma occupying 3rd and 4thg berths.
