As the 2016 CAF Champions League nears semi-final phase, the level of competition in the Africa’s ultimate club face-off has scaled higher with notable individual shows worth mentioning.

The golden boot race is a tightly fought battle among three contenders; Enyimba SC’s Mfon Udoh, Reda Hajhouj of Wydad Casablanca and Indriss Mbombo of Zesco United with 7,6 and 5 goals respectively.

Al Ahly’s Ramathan Sobhy and Joseph Ching’andu of Zesco are the assist masters with two a piece while Zamalek SC goalkeeper Ahmed El-Shenawy has made the most number of saves, 13, followed by Mamelodi Sundowns’ Wayne Sandilands with 9.
