The draws of the CAF Champions League and Confederations cup have just taken place in Cairo with al lot of surprises
In the CAF Champions league ,debutants KCCA of Uganda and Township Rollers of Botswana will eclipse Group A with a face off in Botswana’s National stadium on May 5th while in the same group giants Al Ahly of Egypt will take on Tunisian league leaders Esperance Tunis
Township Rollers eliminated Tanzania league defending champions Yanga who will now have to navigate past Ethiopian sursprise package Wolaitta Dicha .
East Africa ‘s only representatives KCCA who eliminated Ethiopian side St George together with Township Rollers are considered the underdogs in this group.
Esperance of Tunisia will have to travel once again to the East African nation to face Ugandan giants KCCA .Esperance experience in the region was characterised by a hard fought elimination of Kenyan giants Gor Mahia in a tense return leg in Rades
Zambian defending champions Zesco will have to stop Mababane Swallows who earlier eliminated rivals Zanaco in the quarter finals .The group has also Angolan side Premerio de Agosto and Tunisian Etoile du Sahel
