St George have named a 27-man delegation for their trip to Uganda where they are scheduled to face KCCA FC in return leg of Caf Champions League on Saturday.
According to club official portal, the horsemen have retained the squad that did first leg duty when they were held to a goalless draw at home.
The traveling party will consist of nineteen players, eight members of technical and club officials.
However, the Ethiopia Premier League champions will miss the services of Salhadin Seid, Sedi Mohammed Keita together with Ibrahim Fofona all having been left out due to injuries.
St George will depart on Wednesday aboard a Ethiopia Airlines flight ahead of Saturday’s match that will be staged at Star Times Stadium.
Speaking to the press before departure their Portuguese coach, Vas Pinto warned against underrating their opponents and has remained optimistic ahead of the game.
“We tended to underrate our opponents in the first leg but we must understand that this is a team that won their home league and we have to show them respect.”
“But we have a chance of winning the return leg.”
The horsemen have a difficult task as they will need a scoring draw of any kind or a win to progress to the group stages of competition.
