Ethiopian giants St. George have been pooled alongside CAF Champions League defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns in group “C” of this season’s competition.
The draw for the last 16 was held today in Cairo, Egypt.
The other members of the group include AS Vita Club of DR Congo and Esperance of Tunisia.
St. George, who qualified for the group phase of the premium continental club championship, will commence the campaign away to Sundowns.
The first matches will be played on May 12th 2017.
