The Confederations of African Football has said it was sastified with arragements put by Kenya ahead of Chan 2018.
In the CAF’s 39th Ordinary Meeting at the African Union headquarters in Addis Ababa the committee noted that there has been a significant progress made on the ground and there is a strong commitment to hold the competition and making it a success.
The information comes day after the CAF inspection team toured the country between February 20-24 led by the body’s Vice -President Seketu Patel who presented the report to the committee.
The CAF inspectors visited four various sites across the country including Nairobi,Mombasa,Embu,Meru and Machakos.
Rumours went rife that Kenya was about to lose the hosting rights to either Morocco or Ethiopia because of their unpreparedness but CAF are convinced Nairobi can host the tourney.
