The Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) held various workshops on Wednesday ahead of the TotalEnergies U-20 Africa Cup of Nations in Cairo, Egypt.
The workshops brought together the operational units of the tournament with the aim of delivering a successful competition.
The workshops included the General Coordinators, Safety and Security, Marketing Venue Officers, Guest Management and Protocol, CAF Media Officers and Content Creators.
The event was designed to get the match officials up to speed with their work during the tournament and also to get them to prepare for the task ahead.
Egypt is set to welcome top football scouts from leading African clubs and around the globe who will be searching for upcoming stars of the continent.
CAF through its digital platforms will provide full and complete coverage to offer a great show for spectators, television viewers and social media around the world.
Twelve teams will participate in the tournament with the semi-finalists booking a ticket to the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Indonesia from May 20 to June 11, 2023.
The TotalEnergies U-20 Africa Cup of Nations is one of the most popular with African football fans, as it has in the past revealed players who have subsequently exploded at the highest level.
