CAF President Ahmad Ahmad arrived in Burkina Faso on Thursday,3 August 2017, on a three-day visit.

The president and his delegation including 1st Vice-President Kwesi Nyantakyi, Loic Claude Gerand and CAF Media Manager Mohamed Thabet was received at the Ouagadougou International airport by Burkina Faso Football Federation president Sita Sanagare, a representative of the Ministry of Sports and Leisure and a huge number of National Union of Stallions Supporters.

In his address to the members  of the fourth estate immediately after arrival president Ahmad said:

“I am happy to be here to honor an invitation from the President of Burkina Faso.

“I would like to thank him together with the president of Burkina Faso Football Federation and i am gland this is an working visit.

“I will be able to see the football projects that exists here and together with my host we will discuss on how to develop football here,” he added.

During his official visit to the country, the CAF president will meet Burkina Faso President Roch Marc Christian Kaboré on Friday before heading to the FBF headquarters where he will have a working session with the FBF Executive Committee.

After, he will attend the final of the Women’s Faso Cup and on Saturday, August 5th at 9 am, His Majesty the Mogho Naba Baongho, Emperor of the Mossé will meet him before a press briefing at the Hotel Splendid at 10:30.

Then at 4 pm the CAF president will be gracing Men’s Faso Cup final between EFO and the USFA and will present trophy to the winning team.
