CAF President Ahmad Ahmad has wrapped up his two-day working visit to Congo where he interacted with stakeholders towards development of football.
The CAF President arrived in Congolese capital,Brazzaville,on November 20 for a two day visit where he also took time to visit the Kintele Sport Complex.
According to the Congo Info, the CAF President highlighted the importance of his first tour in the country, adding that is part of his vision to get closer to political authorities in the continent.
“You know very well that the President of Republic of Congo,Deniss Sassou N’Guesso is a visionary leader. We are convinced that we cannot manage CAF without the blessings of our elders as Africans.
“It is for this reason that we came to meet him and ask for his blessing and see in what areas we can co-operate,” said Ahmad.
Shortly before meeting the President N’Guesso,Ahmad met Minister of Sports and Physical Education Hugues Ngouelondele before he summed his tour with a visit to Kintele Sports Complex.
“There may be no other words than an appreciation and admiration.I beleive that if all the African heads of states grant this kind of facility to African youth this continent will be far,”said the CAF President.
“If Congo presents a bid to host any competition, there is no reason my organizatiom can refuse them to host with infrastructures we have seen,” concluded Ahmad.
