Defending CAF Confederations Cup champions TP Mazembe of the DRC are through to this year’s finals after edging Morocco’s FUS Rabat 1-0 on aggregate.

Mezembe beat FUS 1-0 in the first leg semi-final two weeks ago at Stade Mazembe, Lubumbashi.

Return leg Saturday night at Prince Moulay Al Hassan, Rabat ended in a scoreless stalemate with the visitors sailing to the two legged finals on 1-0 aggregate score.

For the second year running, FUS have bowed out of the second rate Africa’s club championship at the semis level. Their last win came in 2010.

Mazembe will know their finals opponent today after the second semis return clash between Club Africain and Supersport United.

The first leg in Pretoria, South Africa ended 1-1 giving today’s hosts Club Africain a slight advantage.

A scoreless draw or a win will see them through.
