Sixteen clubs will battle it out for eight berths in the group stages of the 2016 CAF Confederation cup.The Confederation of African football has paired Eight clubs from the previous round against CAF Champions last 16 loosers.

Holders Etoile du Sahel who were relegated to the second tier after loosing to Enyimba of Nigeria will embark on their title defence with CF Mounana of Gabon.

CAF Champions league holders TP Mazembe will have to vent their frustrations at Stade Gabesien afte their title reign was halted by Wydad Casablanca.
