Young Africans registered a 2-0 win over visiting Ethiopian side Wolaitta Dicha .

Goals from Raphael Daud and Emmanuel Martin helped Yanga mov closer to the group stage of the CAF Confederations cup

Raphael Daudi scored what could be the quickest CAF Confederations cup goal just after 30 seconds connecting a cross from Ali Mwinyi after a good one two move by Yusuf Mwilu and enterprising Ibrahim Ajibu who were both outstanding in the midfield .

The early goal did not deter the visitors who pressed on and could be seen making several atrempts pushing foward but Andrew Vincent and Abdalla Shaibu kept the backline locked .

Temesgen Duba and Arafat Djuba connection almost resulted to a goal after Haji Mwinyi blunder but Yanga keeper Youth Roustand saved for a corner .

In the second half coach George Lwandamina let off Thabani Kamusoko who paved way for Pato Ngoyani while veteran Nadir Haroub came in for injured Andrew Vincent

The substitutions brought calm in the Yanga midfield

The win is a huge boost for Yanga ahead of the return leg to be played ten days later at the Hawassa International Stadium.
