Apart from laboring to secure visas to South Africa for the CAF Confederation Cup return match against Supersport United Wednesday, K’Ogalo are also sweating to get air tickets for the trip.
In their recent past continental engagements away, the government through the ministry of sports, directly secured them air tickets as they represent the country, however, for this particular one the minister Mohammed Achesa is referring them to the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) for the same.
“Last week Friday we got an assurance from the ministry that they will as usual cater for our air tickets but contacting them today, Mr. Achesa referred us to FKF – saying they had paid the federation ‘clubs money’,” Gor’s official, who did not want to be mentioned, told Soka25east.

On their part FKF are adamant that the money they received from the ministry was meant for Harambee Stars, Kenya’s senior men’s national team and not for any other use.
“We called FKF President Nick Mwendwa, who told us that the money they received was meant for Harambee Stars and not for buying Gor air tickets.”
Gor emerged victorious in the first leg of the encounter and will be hoping to finish the business in Pretoria and book a ticket in the Confederation Cup groups stage.
