Zanaco defender Ernest Mbewe is positive they can overturn a 2-0 deficit against Raja Casablanca away tomorrow and make the CAF Confederation Cup groups stage.

Mbwe is nonetheless alive to the task ahead and expects a “tough” game against the Moroccan giants.

“The game against Raja will be very tough,” Mbewe said while adding that in football anything is possible, “Football is a funny sport, we can just cause an upset away.”

Zanaco who qualified for last year’s CAF Champions League groups stage failed to replicate the same this year and are gunning for atonement in the second tier interclub competition.

“I believe in my teammates and myself. The most important thing is we have to work hard as a unit, focus throughout and the 90 minutes will determine out fate,” the defender concluded.

The Zambians are making a return to the North African football powerhouse less than a year since going down 1-0 to African Champions Wydad Casablanca at the Champions League groups stage.

To actualize their fantasy they will have to three unanswered goals or more past Raja.
