Zambian striker Emmanuel Mayuka has been named in Zamalek SC squad travelling to Cameroon to play Union Douala in the 1st leg of the 2016 CAF Champions league.
The inclusion of the striker comes after an awe-inspiring run in the league where he scored three goals with one assist in five appearances.
Zamalek SC were exempted in the premilinary rounds of the 2016 edition CAF Champions league.Douala earned the first round berth by thrushing Liberian league Champions Nimba United 4-1 on aggregate.
The Egyptian league champions are managed by Alex Mcleish.He will be banking on the exprience of his assistant and fellow Scottish coach Frank Nutall who has managed in African Champions league before.Nutall coached Kenyan club Gor Mahia and led them to the 2015 CAF Champions league first round after beating CNAPS and lost to AC Leopards of Congo.
