Harambee Stars defender David ‘Calabar’Owino scooped two major accolades at the Zesco United FC awards ceremony held at Urban Hotel in Ndola on Friday night.

The former Gor Mahia defender walked away with the Chairman’s Award and Fan’s Award accolade.

This is after he helped the ‘Team ya Ziko’ to reach the semi-finals of CAF Champions League scoring 8 goals in the season to become one of the best defenders in the teams history.

Another Kenyan International Jesse Were was also honoured, scooping the Top Scorer Award .
