Host Amavubi of Rwanda will stage two build up matches against Cameroon and DR Congo in the run up the 2016 African Nations Championship (CHAN).
This may come as a surprise to Uganda who had also booked a friendly against The Indomitable Lions on Wednesday, January 13,2016.
Rwanda will play the first tie against Cameroon on Wednesday, January 6,2016 before the John McKinstry’s side lock horns with DR Congo on Sunday 10th.
All the matches will be hosted at the newly renovated Umuganda Stadium.
Rwanda are in group “A” which comprises; Morocco, Gabon and Ivory Coast while Cameroon are in group “B” together with Dr Congo, Angola and Ethiopia.
The continental showpiece played by domestic based players will kick off on January 16 to February 7,2016 in Rwanda.
