Cameroon goalkeeper Carlos Kameni has sealed a move to Fenerbahce from Malaga.
Negotiations between the player and the two clubs have been successfully completed,Fernebahce announced on their website on Tuesday.
Details about the contract were not revealed but a source close to the player indicate that the 33-year-old will spend two years with the Turskish giants.
Kameni spent six seasons at Spanish giants Malaga a club he joined from another La Liga side Espanyol and helped the former club win King’s Cup in 2006.
A Cameroonian international since the age of 17, Kameni was part of the national team squads at the 2002 , 2004 , 2006 and 2008 Africa Cup of Nations , starting in all but the first.
In addition he also represented the nation at the 2003 FIFA Confederations Cup , also as first-choice for the eventual runners-up.
He was named Best African Goalkeeper for 2006–07 after being runner-up in the previous season.
He was also in the team that participated in World Cup 2010 in South Africa. Kameni last played for Cameroon in a game against Niger for the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.
