The vacant Cameroon head coach’s job has been advertised online by the Cameroonian Football Association (FECAFOOT).

The post became vacant on December last year when Hugo Broos lost his job for several reasons which included, amongst others, failure to qualify for next summer’s World Cup in Russia and also his refusal to take up residence in Cameroon.

The job specification makes it clear that the applicants must be having good knowledge in African football and ready to reside in the West African nation.

The FECAFOOT says the new head coach will lead and continue to build a successful winning team which respects and lives the philosophy and values of the federation.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a number of key accountabilities including the capacity to work in a team maximizing the opportunities on and off the field to build confidence, cohesion and positive spirit and energy.

The FA also says it is looking for an outstanding football coach with a track record of consistent in the professional environment.

The advert goes on to say that candidates would need to attach with the application a draft work program covering the period 2018-2020 and undertake a background screening as part of the recruitment process.

Interested candidates are supposed to have sent their resumes to the normalization committee secretariat not later than midnight of Friday, March 24.
