Cameroon U-17 national team has arrived in the country this evening ahead of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations U17 qualifying return leg match against Rising Stars on Saturday.
According to information released by Football Kenya Federation , the Young Indomitable Lions were to touch down aboard a Kenya Airways flight from Doula at exactly 6:05pm
The visitors are scheduled to undergo light training tomorrow morning at the Safaricom Kasarani Stadium.
A fortnight ago, the two teams met in Cameroon with Rising Stars registering a 7-0 loss in the first leg and now the hosts require nothing less than victory to go through, as any draw with goals will send them out on away goals rule.
Free entrance
In a bid to support the newly formed national U17 Football team, Football Kenya Federation (FKF) announced that they have waived the entrance fee for the game set to be played at Safaricom Stadium Kasarani on Saturday starting from 3pm.
The move according to the information from the football governing body is aimed at rallying fans to turn out in large numbers and support the Rising Stars.
Confederation of African Football (CAF) has already appointed Tanzanian officials to handle the match and are all expected in the country tomorrow.
The match officials selected by CAF include Orden Mbaga, Jesse Erasmo, Hamis Changwalu.
