NAPSA Stars Vs ZESCO United

Kenyan International Jesse Were scored a brace in this fixture last season to beat Napsa 2-0. In Ndola, Kondwani Mtonga scored the only goal of the game and that meant Zesco had done another double on Napsa.
Napsa has always been on the recieving end of Zesco United , In 2015 they drew one and lost the other were Winston Kalengo and Clatous Chama scored in another 2-0 victory.
It was not different in 2014, another double for Zesco, 2-0 at home and 1-0 away. Lazarous Kambole scored the only goal of that 1-0 victory while the 2-0 win was made possible by Wistone Kalengo and Clatous Chama again.
The same trend in 2013 were Winstone Kalengo and Lottie Phiri scored for Zesco in the first 2-0 encounter while Alfred Luputa and Saudi Musekwa scored in the other game of 2013. In 2012 Napsa got one draw and lost the other, 2-3 at home and 1-1 in Ndola.
That’s how strong Zesco has been in the past 10 games against Napsa and in that period they have scored 16 goals and only conceded 3.
This season Napsa looks a very promising, improved and better drilled. Unfortunately, Zesco looks even more stronger meaning they can handle Napsa even after their massive improvements.
The only challenge for Zesco in this encounter is Chitiya Mususu who on a good day can give that ZESCO defence serious headaches. Zlat though doesn’t want to lose games and I hope he will have to cool down and start being a sports man.
Refusing a Supersport interview after the Nkana game was out of order for the seasoned coach. He should know better than that.
The game is at Heroes and the last time Zesco played on that turf they won the Barclay’s Cup. They will win again in this encounter.
My Verdict: Napsa 0-2 Zesco United
