Last weekend’s 1-1 draw at home to Power Dynamos ended a two game losing streak for Numba Mumamba and Zanaco. That is something that ZANACO fans are not accustomed to in recent times. The neutrals still feel a win for Zanaco was written in that draw but the match officials had other ideas.
Elijah Chikwanda’s Napsa Stars have just three draws in their last 10 games in the super league, and hover precariously deep in the relegation zone. Not even a win against ZANACO will serve them out of the relegation zone. It is a difficult run for the Pensioners who are definitely improving each game that passes by.
The visit to ZANACO is another tight fixture in a tough run for the Pensioners, coming from playing Lumwana, Zesco and Nkana in their last three games.
I think they meet ZANACO at a very bad time when Numba Mumamba is desperately looking for three points and I do not think he will let this one pass but look out for a possible surprise.
