Green Eagles Vs Zesco United
Independence Stadium (Choma)
15:00hrs
Green Eagles host Zesco United on Saturday looking to take advantage of the visitors’ pressure of hoping to win the league at their backyard.
Zesco failed to keep hold of the precious five-point lead on Thursday with a goalless draw against Red Arrows and they will be hoping this will end at Eagles this Sunday.
The changes, chopping and changing of the technical bench, due to the poor performance of Zlat, has helped, but Zesco United still look a shadow of their 2016 season hence that will give hope to Green Eagles who needs points to confirm premier league status.
Meanwhile, Green Eagles are struggling themselves and midweek’s lackluster 1-0 defeat at Nkana made it just one win from six games, and leaves them a point off the drop zone.
A very important game and Green Eagles should they lose this one, they would be looking forward to that away fixture against Green Buffaloes for survival. A loss coupled by victories for Mighty and Kabwe Warriors with even a point for Blades will send Eagles into red zone.

For Zesco victory here with both Green Buffaloes and Zanaco losing their games and the title would be headed to Ndola. I don’t think Zesco will slip up here but it’s never been easy and Eagles will push for something to hold on too and a draw will be a precious point.

Prediction: Green Eagles 0-1 Zesco United
