Cape Town City completed the signing of Dutch goalkeeper Peter Leeuwenberg on a three year deal the club confirmed on Thursday
Leeuwenberg will provide competition for regular number one Sage Stevens and Samora Motlaung having been captured as a free agent after leaving Netherlands giant Ajax Amsterdam at the end of last campaign.
He left the club at the end of last campaign after after failing to agree a new contract and was linked with a move to Major Soccer League in the USA.
Leeuwenberg was a member of Dutch Under -17 National team that won the EURO U-17 tournament in 2011,he is a direct replacement for Shu-Aib Walters who parted ways with the Citizens at the end of last season.
