South Africa outfit Cape Town City have confirmed signing striker Masoud Juma from Kariobangi Sharks of Kenyan Premier League.
“Cape Town City is delighted to announce the acquisition of 21 year old Kenyan international striker, and African top scorer of the year Masoud Juma,” the Premier Soccer League (PSL) club tweeted.
Juma was the top scorer in the Kenya’s topflight last season with 17 goals.
He also netted twice for the national team Harambee Stars as they reclaimed the regional CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup late last year.
Juma unsuccessfully tried out with another PSL side Bidvest Wits mid last year.
Cape Town City is coached by former Bafana Bafana international Benny McCarthy and play their home matches at 55,000 capacity Cape Town Stadium, Cape Town.
The club was formed last year following takeover of defunct PSL side Mpumalanga Black Aces.
They are currently third in the 2017/18 PSL season on 24 points after 15 matches.
