The Blue Sharks of Cape Verde have set up a two day camp in Portugal ahead of their first leg 2018 World Cup qualifier against Kenya’s Harambee Stars on Friday in Nairobi.
“The Special one” coach Rui Aguas names a strong 22-man squad that will seek to upset Harambee Stars in Nairobi where they will arrive on Wednesday at 8pm in the evening in readiness for the important first leg clash to be played at the Nyayo Stadium.
Aguas has names a total of 16 foreign based players who travelled to Portugal on Monday for a two day training stint just before departing for Nairobi where they last came in 2003 when Kenya knocked them out to qualify for 2004 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Blue Sharks will hosts HArambee Stars in the second leg tie on Tuesday next week afterwhich the aggregate winner will proceed to third round, as well as 19 other Nations, where the teams will be placed in five groups of four teams.
