CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup champions Kenya has moved five places to position 106 in the latest FIFA ranking today.

Kenya’s Harambee Stars were last Sunday crowned the regional cup champions after edging Zanzibar on penalty at Kenyatta Stadium, Machakos.

Uganda remains the top ranked team in the region despite dropping a place to 75th.

The Cranes finished second runners up the CECAFA tournament after beating Burundi 2-1 in the third place playoff.

Tanzania, who failed to move out of the groups dropped slightly to 147 while Ethiopia improved to 144.

In Africa Senegal is ranked first followed by Tunisa, Egypt, DR Congo and Morocco.

Germany is the top nation in the world followed by five times World Cup winners Brazil, European champions Portugal, Argentina and Belgium.
