Tanzanian defending Vodacom league champions Young Africans also known as Yanga has agreed to pay Gor Mahia a total of USD 40,000 each for the services of Striker Michael Olunga Ogada and Ugandan Khalid Aucho.
Olunga has been on Simba and Yanga’s radar plus Chamazi based Azam and it is interesting to note how the three clubs would end up in the chase. However Simba seems to have lost hope on the striker terming the asking price by Gor Mahia as crazy and they have now shifted focus to keeper Bonface Oluoch whom according to Hans Poppe,Simba’s head of transfers they are still monitoring the keeper and they will decide.
Yanga have promised to get Olunga at Jangwani and they are in talks with University of Dar es Salaam to transfer the player to continue with his Bachelor of Geospatial Engineering which he is currently pursuing at the Technical University of Kenya.yanga secretary general Jonas Tiboroa has insisted that the two players will join the club.
Both Yanga and Gor Mahia are already in the quarter finals of the ongoing Cecafa Kagame Cup.
