Azam’s FC tough tackling Ivorian defender Serge Wawa has stated that the trophy may land at Chamazi, and that if not then either Kenyan league champions Gor Mahia or their Tanzanian counterparts Yanga will get away with the trophy.
Wawa, who has been very instrumental in the Azam back four where they have not conceded a goal yet will face city rivals Yanga in the third quarterfinal match on Wednesday for a place in the last four.
“so far, Gor Mahia and Azam are both hungrier for goals and they looked organized, they haven’t lost so far together with APR,We are working so hard to maintain our perfect record, however Gor Mahia are big threat and they looked more focused” The former Al Mereikh defender told Soka25east.
Yanga will face rivals Azam for a place in the semi final while Gor will have to see off South Sudan’s Al Malakia to progress.
The knockout stages begin tomorrow and keep it soka25east for more related news
