Cecafa Kagame Final-Whoever wins will set a record

Both teams go into the final with an aim of setting a record in this tournament so far.
Gor Mahia will be seeking to equal Tanzania’s Simba’s record if they beat Azam in the final while on the other side Azam will lift it for the first time if they beat Gor Mahia FC.

So far,Azam has the record of not conceding a goal since the tournament began a fete that was effectively achieved by SC Villa in the 2005 championships played in Tanzanian towns of Arusha and Mwanza.

Going into the final,Azam has has had five players named man of the match.John Bocco was named the best in KCCA match and Pascal Wawa against Al Malakia.Farud Mussa who scored the winning goal against KCCA in the semis was named the man of the match against Adama City while goalkeeper Aisha Manula was named in the quarter final match with Yanga.WaWa was again named in the semifinal match.
