A raw has erupted between Malawi’s Super league management (SULUM) and the Football Association of Malawi over participation in the Cecafa Senior Challenge.
SULUM tasked to run the top tier has cited late communication from the federation and that it will interefere with the league currently going on.

Local soccer rules states that clubs that have contributed a minimum of three players for national duty should be exempted from any competitive domestic action.
