Scottish Champions Celtic have completed the signing of Chelsea youngster Charly Musonda Jr on an 18 month loan.

Musonda joins Brendan Rodgers’ side until the end of the 2018-2019 season and was quick to heap praise on the club.

“Celtic is more than a football club. It’s a religion. What an honour and dream it will be to put on the iconic shirt and be part of your legends wearing the number 67 shirt, ” Musonda wrote on his official Facebook Account.

The young Belgian joined Chelsea in the summer of 2012 and has recently come out in the open to express his frustration at lack of game time under Antonio Conte.

Musonda is contracted until 2022 at the Stamford Bridge side and his move to Scotland will give him the desired game time.
