The Congo DR fans have so far started filling the entrance of the venue for the big derby clash between hosts Amavubi and Le Leopards of Congo DR.
The fans with their banners were by 6am Rwandan time already at the stadium and are preparing to support their team as they take on Amavubi at 3pm in the first quarter final match this evening.
Speaking exclusively to one fan by name Dimonde Luvumbu, ‘I traveled all the way from Goma and arrived yesterday to cheer out team, we are so many here and others are coming’ when I asked him why they were the first to arrive here instead of the host country supporters he was quick to reply that Today Rwanda are having a National Cleaning day which is observed every last Saturday of the month and that is the reason their supporters are not within.
Congo DR takes on Rwanda in Amahoro before Cameroon entertain Ivory Coast later in Huye.
