The CHAN 2016 Tournament so far to my standards is one of the best tournament an East African Country has organized.
Rwanda despite being a tiny country of 12 million people has organized one of Africa’s biggest tournament by standards after the AFCON.Hosting 16 particiating Countries is not an easy task.
Soka25east which is among the only two media online soccer news platform represented here sampled out some important notes that readers should know from this beautiful country with several hills.
here are some of the quick notes to our readers
1-In Rwanda and more common with the French colonized Country’s you are required to keep right on the highway or roads as motorists move on the right unlike Kenya,Uganda,Tanzania and other British former Colonies.
2-Language barrier is a big problem here with most motorists speaking in Kinyarwanda and French
.If you are lucky you will find some acquintated to Kiswahili with a few knowing English.
3-Today even banks are closed until 12noon as its a National Cleaning day which is done in every last Saturday of the month. This am told could be the reason why the Amavubi supporters havent reached the National Stadium. The Congo supporters are already getting to the Stadium.CAF members joined the country in the National cleaning day in Kimironko sector
4-The most common transport system is the motorcycle which will cost you between Rwf 500-Rwf 3000 depending onyour destination within Kigali.
5-The streets of the City are very clean and traffic flows sytematically, thereis a ban on use of platic polythene bags and people use paper bags instead.
6-Security in this city is tight that even when moving around the city in late hours you are safe.
