The Confederation of African football (CAF) refereeing committe has named the match officials for the two semi-final clashes of the ongoing CHAN tournament in Kigali Rwanda.
With all the matches shifted to Kigali, Kenya’s Davies Omweno was named the Centre referee in today’s semi final clash pitting Congo DR against West African side Guinea at the Stade Amahoro.
The Kenyan officiating his fifth match will be assisted by veteran Ugandan assistant referee Mark Ssonko as the first assistant together with Petrousse Hensley from Seychelles as the second assistant. The fourth official will be Moroccan Nourdin El Jafaary
In the second semifinal scheduled for tomorrow between surprise packages Guinea against Ivory Coast, Egyptian Nouredin Ibrahim will be at the Centre assisted by Angolan Marengula Arsenio as the first assistant and another Egyptian Ahmed Hossa as the second assistant. Ethiopian Bamlak Tessema will be the fourth official.
