Only five pay TV stations will broadcast live the much anticipated final of this years CHAN tornament that is scheduled to take place on the 7th of February 2016 at the Amahoro Stadium.
According to a circular sent to media stations and in Soka25east’s possession,Sub Saharan Africa’s Supersport9 and South Africa Broadcasting Corporation for English together with Canal+Africa and Canal Sports will join BeIN sports in showing live the Final match from Amahoro.
The semi finals that begin tomorrow will have BeIN Sports 1HD,supersport 9,SABC,Canal+Sport and Canal+Africa 1 showing the matches live from Amahoro and Stade Nyamirambo.
The third place play off match that will be played at Amahoro on the same day as the final will only have BeIN sports,Supersport SS9 and SABC showing.
Although the competition for the pay TV Stations have been rife with emerging TV stations like Azam missing,views will however not be disappointed as a total of 21 free to air TV stations will beam Africa’s second most watched event live from 21 different countries across the continent.
Uganda’s UBC,Tanzania’s TBC together with Rwanda’s RTB will be the only East African nations showing the match freely.
Zambia’s ZNBC and Kenya’s KBC missed the eye catching event.
