The Congolese fans have away of appeasing the fans and even the opposing teams suppoerters find themselves dancing to the tunes of their lingala songs more famously the Ekotike hit by Koffi Olomide

You will see the passionate Congoles fans compared to the likes of Simba’sand Yanga’s of Tanzania,Gor Mahia’s of Kenya etc.Despite this being a National Cup competitions,you may thing Congo DR is a club.

Soka25east writer caught up with them just at the enterence of the stade Amahoro with their usual drums.The Congomani as they are known started singing and dancing as early as 1100hrs CET and they say they will sing until the last minute of the game.

Some fans came as far as Lubumbashi and the Capiatal Kinshasa with most of the fans travelling by road fro mthe bordering towns of Gisenye near Goma,Bukavu and Katanga

Congo are set to meet Guinea in the first semi final of the CHAN tournament in less than a hour.

The other semi final will be tomorrow at Stade Nyamirambo between Ivory Coast and Mali.
