Gor Mahia  talented  forward Victor Ali Abondo who is the current told scorer in the league with 9 goals and  is a target of Ethiopian premier league champions St.George  has been recalled to the national team that will face Ethiopia Walia Ibex in the weekend in the qualifier to the Africa Nations Championships in a match to be played in Barhirdar 500kms from Addis.

Also included is AFC Leopards striker Jacob Keli who together with Abondo were dropped from the squad that travelled to Congo Brazaville last weekend and played to a one all draw in the qualifier to the Africa Cup of Nations.

As it stands, Were who has been released by South African side Amazulu is still not eligible for this game same as Allan Wanga who is also unattached after his contract with Sudan giants El Mereikh ended.
