Rwanda concluded a 10-day camp in Tunisia with a heavy 4-1 defeat to Algeria in a friendly match played at El Menzeh Stadium, Tunis.

Farouk Chafai grabbed a brace with Lamine Abid and El Habib netting a goal apiece to seal the easy win for the coach Rabah Medjer’s side.

The Amavubi’s lone strike was delivered courtesy of second half substitute Mubumbyi Barnabe.

The coach Antoine Hey’s side drew their first warm-up 0-0 against Sudan Monday in a tie which aborted in the 40th minute due to chaos.

They then played to a 1-1 draw against Namibia the following day despite finishing with game with ten men.

The Algeria’s match was their last assessment as they head to Morocco Thursday for the CHAN 2018 finals – starting 13 January to 4 February 2018.

Rwanda are in group C alongside Libya, Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea and will play their matches in Tanger City.
