There were no surprises in the final squad announced by Guinea coach Kanfory Lappe Bangoura traveling for the CHAN 2018 qualifier against Senegal on Tuesday.
Youthful Wakriya AC’s Aboubakar Bangoura and teenage Satellite striker Aly Camara did not make the cut in a squad that is largely made up of players who did duty for Guinea in the previous win over Guinea Bissau in second round of qualifiers in July.
FC Sequence’s Mohammed N’Diaye has another chance to revive his international career after making the final 18 while goalkeeper Abdoulaye Falessade who had been held up in Bissau due to travel restrictions also makes the team.
Skipper Daouda Camara will be joined by, ASFAG forward Mamady Diawara and Sekou Camara in the hunt for goals. They leave for Dakar which is on Saturday aboard Ethiopian Airlines.
