Uganda cranes have set a date with both Cameroon and Gabon before they fly to Rwanda for the CHAN Tournament.The canes will play Cameroon on 10th January before playing Gabon three days later.Both matches will be played at the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru.
“The training camp for Uganda Cranes will be held at the FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru. The international friendlies are in line with FUFA’s strategic and technical plans for the Cameroon Project 2019.” FUFA spokesman Ahmed Hussein said
on his side Uganda coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic said It was a great opportunity for him and the Uganda Cranes to play against good teams ahead of the CHAN finals.
The cranes are in Group D tht comprises Zimbabwe,zambia and Mali.The tournament Kicks off in in January 16th and runs upto February 7th.
Coach Milutin Sredojevic will name his final squad on 30th of December.
Cranes eliminated both Tanzania and Sudan to qualify for the showpiece that involves player playing in their home leagues.
