Zambia national football team acting head coach Wedson Nyirenda has announced a provisional squad of 23 players from the MTN FAZ Super League for a residential training camp to prepare for the 2018 Fifa World Cup Russia Group B qualifier with Cameroon.
Zambia is scheduled to play Cameroon on
November 12. Nyirenda told fazfootball.com on Saturday that the training camp will take place in Lusaka from Sunday, 16 October 2016.
“The residential camp will be held in Lusaka and it will be for a month. Foreign-based players will join us later but the door remains open for more local players to join us.
“After watching the Barclays semi-finals today, I
think we will add one or two players to the list.
But as of now we have invited 23 players,” said
