The 2016/17 La Liga season fixtures have been announced and Zambian Legend Charles Musonda’s Son Charly Musonda Jnr’s team Real Betis will kick start the new season with a tough encounter against the defending Champions FC Barcelona at Camp Nou.
Musonda spent the second half of last season with the Spanish side, making 16 La Liga appearances and scoring one goal.
Betis were keen to see the midfielder return to the club for the 2016/17 campaign and Chelsea confirmed that an agreement had been reached.
“Charly Musonda will continue his development in La Liga with his loan to Real Betis extended to cover the 2016/17 season,” a club statement
read on 22 june 2016 on twitter.
Musonda has been tipped to become one of the best players in the world and a glimpses of that can been seem in his game. Betis had to fight off other clubs who were also interested in the services of the youngster.
